Chore-Time Introduces Brood Cone for E-Z START® Chick Feeder
MILFORD, Indiana U.S.A. – A brood cone is now available for use with Chore-Time’s E-Z START® Chick Feeder. This new brood cone is automatically filled by the existing feeder line and floods the feeding tray to attract chicks and help get them off to a good start. The new Chore-Time Brood Cone encourages perimeter eating, minimizes feed contamination, reduces feed waste and aids transition of chicks to round feeder pans. The E-Z START Brood Cone easily attaches to the standard Chore-Time E-Z START Chick Feeder and telescopes from nine to 12 inches (23 to 30 cm) in height to accommodate a wide variety of feeder line heights. If a higher feed level is desired, producers can enlarge the cone slots by following the designated trim lines molded into the cone. The new E-Z START Brood Cone is easy to operate and designed to automatically shut off the feed by swinging up and locking under the feeder line when not in use. The innovative new brood cone is just one option available for Chore-Time’s standard E-Z START Chick Feeder. Customers can also choose an optional telescoping white extension tube which allows feeder adjustment to varying pan heights.
