MILFORD, Indiana, U.S.A. – The most innovative concept in heating has made another giant leap forward.  Chore-Time has introduced a second generation to its popular QUADRATHERM® Heater.  The Generation 2 QUADRATHERM Heater is the latest advance in the company’s QuadRadiant® heating technology, providing poultry producers with a compact heater that delivers 80,000 BTUs of QuadRadiant heat in a broad, quadrangular “house-shaped” heat pattern.  

QuadRadiant heat requires fewer units and less run time to heat a typical house.  The Generation 2 QUADRATHERM Heater uses fuel more efficiently by transforming more of the thermal capacity of the gas to infrared heat and transferring more of that heat to the floor where it is needed.

Chore-Time’s Generation 2 QUADRATHERM Heater features large, ribbed emitter surface areas that radiate more infrared heat than other heater styles.  The unique shape and reflective surfaces enhance the transfer of infrared heat to the floor.  

The Chore-Time heater’s spacious combustion chamber and highly effective burners enhance the unit’s efficiency, providing even heat distribution through all burner ports.  Burner efficiency is further optimized by drawing additional combustion air through the bottom of the heater.  

The QUADRATHERM heater’s adjustable height helps optimize floor coverage.  Its ability to use zone control helps producers to save fuel by heating only the areas of the house where heat is needed.

Chore-Time’s Generation 2 QUADRATHERM Heater is constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and aluminum for greater durability and longer life.  The innovative heater is designed for easy operation, and features reliable direct spark ignition, thermostatic or zone sensor control and proven, reliable component parts.  

Easy to install, these Chore-Time heaters are delivered assembled and ready to hang. Eight-foot long power cords and gas hoses are included for flexibility in heater placement.  Slotted tabs at the corners of the heater permit secure four-point suspension for extra stability.  The heater’s 5-psi gas pressure operation reduces installation costs for piping and is retrofit friendly. The 120-volt zone control eliminates the need for transformers.  

The QUADRATHERM Heater is easy to maintain with a protected burner and igniter easily serviceable by removing one screw.  The three-piece bottom offers easy access for cleaning, and the heaters are winchable for house clean-out.
